Remote Access to the CAEN Windows Environment is unavailable. Reported errors are messages saying no machines are available when connecting, as well as logins that hang on either the "Welcome" screen or the "Please wait for the User Profile Service..." screen. CAEN has identified the problem as a compatibility issue between the CAEN Windows image and a recent ITS VMWare update. CAEN and ITS have been working together to restore the service.
The service has been restored as of Wednesday, November 27, 8:00 AM.
