Piazza – Online Q&A Forums

Features

Piazza is an online forum platform for instructors to efficiently simulate and manage class discussions. It supports organized Q&A that students can access 24/7, and get high-quality answers to difficult questions. Students can post questions, collaborate to edit responses to questions, comment on answers or post follow-up inquiries. Instructors can also answer questions, endorse student answers, and edit or delete any posted content. Analytics for usage are available to help instructors assess student participation.

How to Access Piazza

Piazza Support

Piazza is integrated within U-M Canvas, supported by ITS, and is available to all U-M instructors at no cost. An instructor can add it to their Canvas course site via the Navigation tab in the Site Settings. Refer to Enabling External Apps.
