The CAEN Help Desk is the College of Engineering’s computing and IT support desk located on North Campus. Help Desk consultants are available to answer your questions about accessing CAEN’s computer labs, software, and other U-M computing services. You may leave a voicemail for a CAEN consultant at (734) 764-CAEN , or send an email message to email@example.com.
Chat with the CAEN Help Desk
To open a Live Chat session with a CAEN Help Desk consultant, you can open a browser tab or click the Blue button in the bottom-right corner of the page. If no consultant is available, you will be prompted to submit an offline message, and the next available consultant will contact you at the email address you provide.
Send Email to a CAEN Consultant
To send an email message to CAEN Help Desk consultants, submit your request using our online contact form. This form requires authentication with a UMICH password and Duo two-factor authentication.
You may also send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org from your U-M (@umich.edu) email address.
Leave the Help Desk a Voicemail
For general questions, call the Help Desk at (734) 764-CAEN  to leave a voice message, and a CAEN consultant will contact you. Please make sure to clearly speak your U-M uniqname, and your preferred email contact (if not the same as your U-M email address).
