Update – 9/27: The large majority of CAEN computers have been updated with a fix to resolve the SolidWorks virtualization error.
Students are still encouraged to report any errors they may encounter when launching SolidWorks on any CAEN computer.
SolidWorks on the CAEN Lab Software Environment (CLSE) for Windows is currently suffering from a virtualization issue that has negatively impacted its use in many computer labs. CAEN staff are currently working on a systematic fix, and have been fixing the error on individual computers as they are reported. Students who receive any error when attempting to launch SolidWorks on a CAEN computer are encouraged to report it by sending email to email@example.com.
