CAEN Web Publishing Support

Review our WordPress documentation to learn how to use the CAEN Web Publishing provided themes and plugins. This information provides step-by-step guides for authoring content and basic administrative tasks, such as adding users.

Email caen@umich.edu to reach the CAEN Web Publishing team for assistance with creating content and managing your site. Our aim is to reply to all email requests within two business days.

If you have updates to make to your site and aren’t sure how to get started, we can step through the process with you in a virtual training session. Site editors will have the opportunity to ask questions over Zoom and get assistance with making changes to their website. 

For answers to specific questions, we encourage anyone who will be attending a WordPress training session to first review the articles in our knowledge base.

To request an individual training session, email caen@umich.edu and provide the name and URL of your website along with any specific questions or topics you’d like to explore.

Group training sessions are available to academic, administrative, or research units that use CAEN Web Publishing. These sessions provide an introduction to the service and go over the basic features of WordPress. To request a group training session, email caen@umich.edu. CAEN will work with your group to schedule a date for a virtual session.

While site owners and content editors are responsible for adding and managing their content using the WordPress editor, they can request Content Migration Support.

This is an additional service in which CAEN will assist with adding or modifying website content on your behalf only upon request and subject to limitations.
