Note: The physical Help Desk location will be closed on Friday, July 5, but remote support options (described below) will still be available.

On days when classes are not in session, the CAEN Help Desk will move to live chat support only. CAEN consultants can also be contacted by sending email to [email protected].

CAEN Help Desk

The CAEN Help Desk is located on the second floor of the Duderstadt Center, at the main library reserves desk. You can call the Help Desk at (734) 764-CAEN [2236]. If no consultant is available, leave a voicemail and a CAEN staff member will respond as soon as possible. Please make sure to clearly spell your U-M uniqname. Online chat and email contact options are also available, as described below.

 


 

Chat with a consultant

To chat with a CAEN consultant, open a browser tab, or click the chat icon in the bottom-right corner of the page. If no consultant is available, you will be prompted to submit your message, and the next available consultant will contact you.

Send an email to CAEN consultants at [email protected]. You may also submit your message using our online contact form, which requires authentication with a UMICH password and Duo two-factor authentication.
