Resolved: ITS MiStorage Maintenance – Sunday, October 8

On Sunday, October 8 starting at 4:00 a.m., ITS will be performing maintenance on the MiStorage servers that host CAEN Windows home directories. The maintenance is expected to last until 7:00 a.m. During that time, users may experience brief outages while attempting to access their Windows home directories. Further updates on this maintenance can be found at the ITS Service Status page.

Resolved: STAR-CCM+ Licensing – Friday, September 29

Update: New licenses for STAR-CCM+ have been installed.

The STAR-CCM+ software license is scheduled to expire at midnight on September 29, 2017. CAEN is working with Siemens to renew the license, and we expect to have a replacement license soon.

This outage will impact use of STAR-CCM+ in CAEN Labs, on Flux, and in College of Engineering department and private labs.

Resolved: CLSE Server Maintenance – Monday, September 25

On Monday, September 25 between 5:00 and 8:30 a.m., maintenance has been scheduled for servers that support the CAEN Lab Software Environment (CLSE). This maintenance is intended to update the Cloudpaging software-on-demand service, enabling additional methods of software deployment to users in CAEN Labs.
