The license server that manages access to SolidWorks classroom license on CAEN lab computers is currently unavailable. CAEN staff are working with the vendor to bring it back into service, and this posting will be updated once the issue is resolved.
On Saturday, October 18 from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m., ITS will be performing electrical maintenance in the Industrial and Operations Engineering building. On Monday, October 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., ITS will be replacing the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) supporting the Gerstacker building. During the maintenance, power may be shut down, and affect wired and wireless network connectivity.
The COMSOL Research license server is currently experiencing an outage, and users may not be able to launch the application on CAEN lab computers. CAEN staff are investigating, and this posting will be updated once a solution has been implemented.

On Tuesday, September 16 between 11:00 p.m. and 11:45 p.m., maintenance has been scheduled for servers that support the Linux Login Service, accessed via VNC as login-course.engin.umich.edu and oncampus-course.engin.umich.edu. During this time, users may have trouble connecting to the service.
On Saturday, September 20 from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., ITS will be performing electrical maintenance in the Ford Motor Company Robotics Building. During this maintenance, Wi-Fi and wired network connections may be unavailable.
