CAEN has received reports of slowness when launching certain applications via the AppsAnywhere cloudpaging website. CAEN staff are investigating.
Update 1/23 at 1:35 p.m. – We have opened a trouble ticket with the vendor, and are working with them to resolve the issue. Further updates will be posted here once more information is available.
Update 1/23 at 6:55 p.m. – We have identified the cause of the AppsAnywhere slowness as an incompatibility with another application. A quick fix is being deployed to all lab computers now, and should be completely finished by 11:00 p.m. tonight.
Update 1/24 at 4:59 p.m. – We are still working on the AppsAnywhere performance issues. Event logs and software trace logs have been submitted for analysis.
Update 1/26 at 2:45 p.m. – AppsAnywhere performance has returned to normal. CAEN staff are continuing our investigation into this issue. If you experience poor performing applications, please notify the CAEN Help Desk.
