Resolved: Possible Synopsys License Expiration Outage – Tuesday, May 6

Update: The vendor has provided an extension for the license until May 6, 2025, and expects to have a full-year license available by that date.

The software licenses for a number of software titles provided by Synopsys are scheduled to expire at midnight April 30, 2025. CAEN has renewed these licenses, and is just waiting on the vendor to deliver the new license files.  We expect to have the new license files before the beginning of next week, and we are posting this notice as a precautionary measure.

Software titles potentially impacted:

  • Synopsys Custom Compiler
  • Synopsys Custom WaveView
  • Synopsys Embed-It! Integrator
