CAEN computer labs will be closed during the dates and times listed below so computers can be reloaded with new software:
On Thursday, August 16 between 5:00 and 8:30 a.m., maintenance has been scheduled for servers that support the CAEN Lab Software Environment (CLSE). This maintenance is intended to apply security patches, correcting recent operating system and software application vulnerabilities.
The following services may experience an outage during the above maintenance timeframe:
Continue Reading »We are currently experiencing an outage with the license server for the SolidWorks research licenses. CAEN staff are investigating, and this posting will be updated as soon as it is resolved.

On Friday, July 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., ITS will be replacing network hardware in the School of Information North building. Network connectivity may be unavailable on the second floor during this time. Further information can be found on the ITS Service Status page.
On Friday, August 3 from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., ITS will be replacing network hardware in the LBME building. Network connectivity may be unavailable on the second floor during this time. Further information can be found on the ITS Service Status page.
On Thursday, August 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., ITS will be replacing network hardware in the LBME building. Network connectivity may be unavailable on the first floor during this time. Further information can be found on the ITS Service Status page.
On Wednesday, August 1 from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., ITS will be replacing network hardware in the EECS building. Network connectivity may be unavailable on the fourth floor during this time. Further information can be found on the ITS Service Status page.
The CAEN computer lab located in EECS 4440 will be closed starting Thursday, July 12 for maintenance. It will reopen on Tuesday, September 4.
Update: This maintenance has been cancelled.
On Saturday, August 4 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the electrical substation that provides power to the Lurie Engineering Center (LEC) and the Industrial and Operations Engineering (IOE) building will be shutdown for preventative maintenance.
