On Friday, November 10 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., the College departmental web applications server (deptapps.engin.umich.edu), which houses applications such as OPS, uGrab, Honors & Awards, FAR, the Visiting Scholar registry…, will be unavailable due to a hardware upgrade.
The Lecture Recording Service is experiencing difficulty loading student data from ITS, some videos may be unplayable during this outage. We are working with ITS to determine the cause, and find a resolution. No ETA on a fix.

The College’s room scheduling system, 25Live, is currently down due to a vendor outage. This is affecting the schedules normally shown on the digital displays outside of classrooms and computer labs. CAEN staff are monitoring the situation, but there is currently no estimated time of repair.
Starting Wednesday, November 1 at 12:00 a.m., the CAEN computers located in the Duderstadt Center 3rd Floor South area will be updated to run the current CLSE 2023 environment. These computers continued running CLSE 2022 in order to accommodate the transition to Windows
On Thursday, October 26 between 5:00 and 7:00 a.m., ITS will be performing maintenance on the network for the first floor of the Duderstadt Center.

On Monday, October 16 starting at 3:00 a.m., ITS will be performing electrical maintenance for the North Campus Research Complex (NCRC). Between Tuesday, October 17 and Friday, October 20, ITS will be performing maintenance on the wired and Wi-Fi networks for various floors in the U-M Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI). On Friday, September 29 starting at 7:00 a.m., maintenance will be performed on the Configuration Manager for deployment of the CAEN Lab Software Environment (CLSE) and Engineering Base Desktop (EBD). Users of the CLSE or EBD should not see any impact.
On Monday, October 16, ITS has scheduled maintenance for Horizon View, which supports CAEN’s Windows Remote Desktop Service. No downtime is expected for the service during the maintenance window, and users can continue to connect as normal.
The current software license for Sawtooth is due to expire this Thursday, September 28. Users will not be able to use Sawtooth beginning Friday, September 29.
